About the project

Bo is a new character created by Ogilvy Chile for one of Nestle’s brands in the South American market.

To introduce Bo, Ogilvy and Beatmap developed a micro-site to show Bo in an imaginary world through a flipbook. Beatmap then gave life to this world through an interactive micro-site, using a mixture of 3D and 2D graphics.

In this online application the user is presented with a pop-up book that has animations activated by user interaction.

About the project

Hot Express offers a service that allows anybody in Chile to order from a US based business without having a US based delivery address and have the order delivered to their home or office in Chile.

Beatmap was asked to create a fun 3D animation to explain how the service works. The video also includes detailed instructions on how to order online through a vendor like Amazon.com to an audience that is not familiar with this process.

About the project

Greater Than One approached Beatmap to help them with the 3D animation of a rubber duck swimming on an eye for the splash screen of a website they were developing. Who can say no to rubber ducks?! So we went right to it.

Beatmap gave life to GTO’s storyboard and design. The duck and the other objects were modeled, rigged and animated to show a happy and cute character. The challenge with the water was to maintain it in motion but calm, especially after the splash caused by the initial jump of the duck. The final animation was then incorporated by the client into a Flash application for use in the brand’s website.

About the project

Bo is a new character created by Ogilvy Chile for one of Nestle’s brands in the South American market.

For mother’s day, Ogilvy asked Beatmap to develop a microsite to interact with Bo by “tickling” him. To do this, the user picks up a feather and then can make Bo laugh when the feather touches one of the 3 areas of the following 3 areas: head, tummy or feet.
